Amaris Ackermann is the Marketing & Communications Manager at OrthoWorx, where she leads brand engagement and storytelling efforts that showcase Warsaw’s role as the Orthopedic Capital of the World®. Since joining OrthoWorx, Amaris has developed and elevated initiatives that connect industry, education, and community partners, helping strengthen awareness of the region’s orthopedic leadership and talent pipeline.
A graduate of Grace College, Amaris began her career in product marketing at Johnson & Johnson MedTech, where she supported orthopedic innovation and deepened her passion for the medical device industry. That experience, paired with her commitment to storytelling, fuels her work at OrthoWorx to inspire future generations and highlight the impact of orthopedics on both a local and global scale.
While at Grace, Amaris competed on the Forensics team and became the 2019 National Speech and Debate League National Champion in Slam Poetry, a testament to her communication skills and creativity.
Deeply rooted in the community, Amaris serves on the Kosciusko County Velo board and the Fat & Skinny Tire Fest planning committee. She and her husband, Curtis, live in Warsaw, where they enjoy an active lifestyle of pickleball, volleyball, and cycling, as well as time with family and friends on the lake. Both avid foodies, they also love exploring the local culinary scene and building connections through their community.
