Dr. Allyn Decker is the Vice President of Operations and engagement at OrthoWorx. Before coming to OrthoWorx, Allyn served as the Director of Community Engagement at the Warsaw, Indiana Ivy Tech Community College campus. In addition, he served at Grace College in Winona Lake, Indiana for 16 years in several roles including chair of the Communication Department, Program Director in the School of Professional and Online Education (SPOE), and Dual Credit coordinator.
He also consults for various organizations on a variety of topics including public, interpersonal, and organizational communication, personality styles, managing teams, and strategic planning.
For 13 years, Allyn also served as Vice President of Organizational Learning and Development with Lake City Bank in Warsaw, where he led a team in creating Lake City University, a comprehensive corporate university that achieved outstanding results in employee retention and career development.
Allyn completed his doctoral degree at Azusa Pacific University in Azusa, California where his studies focused on higher education leadership with an emphasis on accelerated adult learning; he also holds master’s degrees from Ball State University and Grace Theological Seminary.
Allyn has served as moderator for the Kosciusko Leadership Academy since 2008 and was named the 2022 Kosciusko Chamber of Commerce Man of the Year. He loves the challenge and adventure of international travel with his wife Vicky, and treasures daily moments with a wide circle of family and friends and Poppy the Springer Spaniel.
