Due to our remarkable concentration of orthopedic manufacturers, research institutions, and medical professionals, Warsaw, IN has become the Orthopedic Capital of the World®.
Because of this thriving orthopedic ecosystem, Plug and Play, the leading global innovation platform, is launching its newest office right here in Warsaw, Indiana, focused on the rapidly growing medtech industry.
Plug and Play’s presence in Warsaw will provide startups with access to a wide range of resources and support, including mentorship, networking opportunities, and access to Plug and Play’s extensive network of corporate partners and investors. Additionally, selected medtech startups will have the opportunity to participate in Plug and Play’s renowned accelerator programs, gaining valuable insights, mentorship, and potential investment opportunities.
Fostering Entrepreneurship
The goal of the Innovation initiative is to foster entrepreneurship and create the resources to encourage, create, and support the formation of new companies. The innovation initiative also works to create greater integration among Indiana’s universities and the orthopedic industry so that the industry is better aware of university capabilities and universities can better understand how they can address unmet needs in orthopedics.
