A focus on local community enrichment creates a place where those working in the orthopedic and medical device fields want to live and work. This focus also helps build on the foundation that was set in 1895 by orthopedic companies to make this region the Orthopedic Capital of the World®.
The ultimate goal of OrthoWorx is to make Northern Indiana conducive for orthopedic businesses for years to come and maintain a seat at the table in the global marketplace.
Community Enrichment Goals
To build upon, expand, and assist in promoting social, recreational, and cultural offerings in the local Kosciusko County community, while also connecting to the broader offerings in the region. This focus results in an improved quality of life for all residents and makes the area more attractive to potential new professionals and residents.
By increasing the inclusivity of our increasingly diverse community, we can better engage and utilize the regional and statewide resources available, such as the educational capabilities of Indiana’s universities to provide advancement opportunities.
Young Professionals
OrthoWorx develops and launches initiatives for young professionals designed to deepen their connection to the medical device industry in Northern Indiana.
Providing Educational Programming
A key portion of the work OrthoWorx does in community enrichment focuses on providing cultural, artistic, and educational programming for young professionals and interns, getting them connected in college, and giving them reasons to stay in the area after graduation.

The OrthoWorx Diversity Committee is a collaborative effort between community organizations, Kosciusko County schools, and local industries designed to support and create awareness around diversity and promote inclusive practices throughout Kosciusko County.
