OrthoWorx is proud to announce the premiere of the documentary, The Rise of Orthopaedics in America, by Fort Wayne’s PBS39.
Viewers can tune in tonight at 8 p.m. ET to PBS39 to watch the newest addition to the station’s list of self-produced documentaries.
OrthoWorx supported PBS39 in the development of this documentary, which examines the history of the orthopaedic industry, with particular focus on Warsaw as the Orthopedic Capital of the World®. Subject matter experts from local orthopaedic companies provide enlightening interviews that describe the history of the industry, from its inception with Revra DePuy in 1895 to its current state as a global enterprise.
Orthopaedic surgeons provide commentary on not only the changes in medical advancements over the past 100 years, but also the future technologies that will provide millions of patients with an improved quality of life.
