OrthoWorx recently hosted its inaugural Bones & Barrels sporting clays fundraiser on Friday, May 8th, bringing together community and industry members for an afternoon of networking, friendly competition, and support for STEM education across Kosciusko County.
Held at the Kosko Shotgun Sports Club, the event welcomed eight teams of four participants representing organizations and partners from across the region. Through sponsorships and participation, the event raised $3,500 to support local STEM education initiatives aimed at building the future workforce and expanding opportunities for students in the community.
In addition to the competition, the event provided attendees with opportunities to connect with peers and strengthen relationships across the orthopedic and business ecosystem.
“We were excited to see such a strong turnout for the first Bones & Barrels event,” said Ryan Christner. “It was a great opportunity for networking and collaboration while also raising funds to support STEM education here in Kosciusko County. Investing in STEM learning is investing in the future of our community and the industries that help drive it forward.”
As OrthoWorx continues its mission of strengthening the Orthopedic Capital of the World®, initiatives like Bones & Barrels help support workforce development efforts and encourage the next generation of innovators, makers, and problem-solvers.
