When it came time to talk about advancing Indiana business, Ball State University contacted OrthoWorx to feature The Orthopedic Capital of the World® in the Indiana state-wide campaign.
“Our work with Ball State was focused on community attributes that contribute to ‘quality of place’ in the Warsaw region,” states Brad Bishop, Executive Director, OrthoWorx. “Increasingly, communities must consider not just their industrial infrastructure, but how appealing they are to the people who are deciding where to live, work and raise their families.”
The unique, orthopedic economic cluster in Kosciusko County, Indiana makes a strong business case for locating life sciences companies here. Nearly half the county’s workforce is supported directly or indirectly by the orthopedic industry. The cluster accounts for about $11 billion in annual sales.
The campaign features OrthoWorx Diversity Council Members and OrthoWorx staff and is set to run through April 2013.
