Tobias Buck is the Chairman, President and CEO and Founder of Paragon Medical, Inc., headquartered in Pierceton, Indiana. He is responsible for directing all manufacturing operations activities, revenue and capital accountability, directing activities of all plant support activities, marketing, sales, finance, human resources, purchasing, materials management and quality.
He has worked for the past 30 years in three different markets: aerospace, automotive and life sciences. He has also served in the United States Navy.
He is active in various community organizations and served on multiple private and public corporate boards of directors for profit and non-profit organizations.
He was named Warsaw/Kosciusko County Chamber of Commerce 2006 Man of the Year for his contributions to the community. He also received the 2004 Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award in Life Sciences for the State of Indiana and was named 1998 Entrepreneur of the Year for small manufacturing firms.
Tobias has degrees in Industrial Engineering Technology and Mechanical Engineering Technology from Purdue University; an Associate of Applied Science in Industrial Engineering Technology from Minnesota State Technical College; and is a Graduate of the Harvard Executive Development Program and the MIT Birthing of Giants Program.
