OrthoWorx Community Enhancement Initiative focuses on helping to build a vibrant community through enhancements like bike trails, walking paths and future community assets.

This all helps to promote the social, recreational and cultural offerings in the community, reinforcing the region’s strong quality of life.

A new community asset being pursued by the YMCA is building the new Parkview Warsaw YMCA, which is in the final stretch of its Shaping the Future capital campaign. “The new YMCA will help improve the quality of life for those who live and work in Warsaw. It will be a place for residents to meet new friends and find support in their wellness goals. It will be a safe place where children are nurtured and encouraged to reach their potential. The new Y will also provide seniors the opportunity to be social and healthy,” stated YMCA CEO Chad Zaucha.

The YMCA has met most of its capital campaign goal and is seeking support of the community. “We are asking the community to help raise the remaining $180,000. If we are able to raise that final $180,000 by December 31, 2013, the Dekko Foundation will provide a $600,000 cap grant to cap off the $13.1 million dollar campaign. A donation of any size can make all the difference to the future of your community,” states Zaucha.
