The OrthoWorx Diversity Council provides a hands-on, interactive experience for attendees of the Warsaw Downtown Development Corporation’s (WCDC) First Friday events. “We are pleased to be a part of First Fridays to spotlight the importance of diversity and inclusiveness to the overall vitality of our community,” stated Tammy Allen, Director of Marketing, OrthoWorx. “We invite everyone to visit us at the September and October First Fridays.”

The Council will return to the courthouse lawn for both upcoming events, featuring various cultures and activities for the attendees to enjoy.

In keeping with September’s Fall into Fashion theme, Diversity Council members will feature the traditional and contemporary clothing of many cultures from around the world. Marlene Mulero-Betances, DePuy, is the team-lead for the council’s September booth. “Fashion is a fun and easy way to experience different cultures. The styles, colors, and fabrics used all provide insight into the beliefs and lives of the people wearing them,” stated Mulero-Betances.

“For October’s theme of Art-tober comes the opportunity to discover the artist in everyone,“ stated Robin Rasor, Consultant, and team-lead for the council’s October booth. “The Diversity Council will provide some fun, hands-on activities where attendees can experience art from all over the world.”
